Join us at Mobile Health Summit 2012!

We are happy to announce that the 2012 GSMA-mHealth Alliance Mobile Health Summit will be held in Cape Town, South Africa on 29 May- 1 June, 2012 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Similar to last year’s very successful event, MHS 2012 is brought to you by leaders in the global health and mobile industries, GSMA and the mHealth Alliance. The global reach and initiatives of these two organisations will ensure the Summit will encourage the collaboration and relationships needed to realise the potential of mobile health.

The 2012 event will include:

  • A spectacular conference agenda focusing on the hottest topics and issues in the Mobile Health market. (click here to see the 2011 conference agenda)
  • A cutting-edge exhibition showcasing the most innovative Mobile Health products and services (click here to see the 2011 exhibitors)
  • The industry's premier forum for Mobile Health networking and deal-making with the C- Level leaders of healthcare institutions, mobile network operators, development organisations and solutions providers, as well as regulators and policymakers

Thought Leadership Conference

MHS 2012 will deliver a thought-leadership conference programme that will cover the hottest topics in mobile health: from service-provider business-models and MNO partnerships, through regulation and privacy, to on-the-ground innovations that are saving lives.

Last year's event brought together the full spectrum of decision makers, influencers and thinkers from across the mobile health value chain to discuss the key topics in mobile health. Speakers from mobile operators, insurance groups, pharma companies, healthcare providers, equipment manufacturers, infrastructure vendors, applications developers and integrators from around the globe presented the latest developments in mobile health and in the ecosystem that supports it.

You can get involved with the development of the 2012 Mobile Health Summit conference programme by submitting to our call for papers process. Call for papers will open on 7 February 2012 and will run for 6 weeks, closing on 22 March. We will give guidance on the topics for consideration and on the process itself when we get closer to February, so please check back on this site for further updates.

If you would like to register your initial interest in speaking at MHS2 2012 or have any questions about speaking at the event, please email us at speakersmhs@gsm.org.
